Regenera Activa
Prevent congenital hair loss for women

Over 90 percent of women affected by hair loss suffer from androgenetic alopecia (AGA). This form of hair loss is triggered by a disposition to increased sensitivity of the hair follicles caused by the male sexual hormone. For most women, this is usually noticeable between the ages of 30 and 40 and starts with a thinning at the crown. To stop this process, and partly even to reverse it, at HAARZENTRUM AN DER OPER, we are working with an innovative procedure: Regenera Activa.

Process

During treatment, three samples from the patient’s scalp are taken, each of 2.5 millimetres in diameter. These are filtered in a special device and injected into the scalp affected by hair loss to reactivate the growth of the follicle. The hair is rejuvenated and also gets significantly longer again over time. One 30 minute treatment is enough to interrupt the hair loss for at least two years.

Preparation

For safety, we advise that you do not use painkillers and scalp solutions containing minoxidil for ten days prior to treatment.

Anaesthesia

The three scalp samples are taken under local anaesthesia.

After Treatment

As no cuts are necessary to obtain the skin samples, you do not need to factor in any down time. A visible improvement in hair growth can be expected after around four weeks.

Washing your hair for the first time

We recommend waiting until the following day before washing your hair.
