Generally thinning hair can be counteracted with the help of LED and infra-red light. The scalp is exposed to this light for around 20 minutes. An LED light, which has a wavelength of 645 to 850 nanometres and which stimulates the production of energy and decelerates the period of growth, is used for this. The result: less hair falls out. Six to eight sessions, which ideally take place over a period of two to three months, are usually necessary. The light exposure is pain-free. You don’t have to plan in any time off. However, you should allow 24 hours between the treatment and your next colouration or perm.
